Then, Dr. Barrer completed an internship program in surgery at University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics and a residency program for five years as a Neurological Resident at University of Pennsylvania and an additional residency at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, PA . In addition, Dr. Barrer accepted a Fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The media has identified Dr. Barrer as one of the Top Docs in Philadelphia Magazine for three consecutive years.
