Dr. Laurie A. Casas is the founder of Casas Plastic Surgery and Medispa, board certified plastic surgeon and renowned leader in the field of plastic surgery for her many contributions to the plastic surgery community. Dr. Casas served as a Clinical Associate Professor, University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Casas graduated from Northwestern University Medical School and completed both General and Plastic Surgery training at Northwestern University in Chicago. She also completed three fellowships at  New York University in Cosmetic Surgery of the Face and Body; St. Joseph Hospital-Emory University in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Breast; and Southern Illinois University in microsurgery of the hand. She is the only female Plastic Surgeon who has been a past president of the Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation and who also sat on the Board of Directors for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. She continues to represent Plastic Surgery as a National Spokesperson for both ASAPS and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).
